Trust and data handling

Trust and data handling at Joqiva

Joqiva is a pre-release product for UK service businesses. This page explains how Joqiva approaches trust, privacy, data handling, AI-assisted features and payment-related workflows.

We aim to describe the product honestly and avoid presenting Joqiva as a bank, payment processor, accounting firm, tax adviser or legal adviser.

Product status

Joqiva is currently in pre-release.

Public account access is not fully open yet, and operational processes may continue to evolve before general availability.

Security safeguards

These safeguards are described carefully for the current pre-release stage.

Joqiva is served over HTTPS.
Data sent between the browser and Joqiva is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
Where data is stored by third-party providers, storage protections depend on the relevant provider and service configuration.
Joqiva is in pre-release, and backup, recovery and audit-log practices may continue to evolve before general availability.

Access controls

Joqiva is designed around account-based workspace access and carefully scoped customer-facing pages.

Business users access their workspace through the app.
Selected customer-facing quote and invoice pages may be accessible through link-based sharing.
Customer-facing quote and invoice pages are intended for sharing with the relevant customer.
Customer-facing quote and invoice pages are not intended for search engine indexing.
They are marked with noindex controls and are not included in the public sitemap.

Privacy and data protection

Joqiva provides privacy and data protection information in the Privacy Notice and Data Processing Agreement.

AI-assisted features

Some Joqiva features may use AI-assisted processing to help draft, summarise or organise business information.

AI output should be reviewed by the business before use.
Joqiva AI features should not be treated as legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.

Payments and money handling

Joqiva helps with bank-transfer workflow records, not customer money movement.

Joqiva does not hold customer funds.

Customers pay the business directly using the bank details shown on the invoice.
The business remains responsible for checking its own bank account before confirming payment.
